Is smoking allowed?
All rooms are non-smoking. However, a designated smoking area is available in the courtyard.
How many guests can stay per booking?
Up to 5 guests can stay. Among them, 2 guests can sleep on beds made of Yamada Nishiki rice straw. If you wish to stay with more than 5 guests, please contact us via the inquiry form.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Reservations can be made until 11:59 PM, two days before your desired check-in date. For last-minute inquiries, please contact us via the inquiry form. Please note that responses may be delayed on holidays.
Can I stay with children?
Yes, children of all ages are welcome, including infants. Baby beds and toothbrushes are available. Please note that there are stairs and steps, as the building is a renovated traditional farmhouse.
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are allowed in the 1st-floor dirt-floor area (doma). Entry to the 2nd-floor bedrooms and other spaces is not permitted.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in: 2:00 PM / Check-out: by 5:00 PM the next day. Enjoy a full two-day stay, including time for a nap after the farm experience.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, hi speed Wi-Fi is available free of charge.
What is included in the accommodation fee?

Is there a shuttle service?
A shuttle to/from Ebisu Station (Kobe Dentetsu Line) may be available depending on the schedule. If needed, please check the box labeled “Shuttle from Ebisu Station” when booking. Please note that during busy farming periods, shuttle service may not be available. In such cases, please consider using a taxi.

Are heating and cooling available?
Yes, all rooms are equipped with air conditioning and heating.
What kind of farm experiences are available? Are they mandatory?
Participation is optional. You can opt in by selecting “Join the farm experience” when booking. There is no change in accommodation fees regardless of participation. Activities include: Rice planting and harvesting (seasonal) Weeding, vegetable field care Child-friendly tasks like forest care around a local shrine or picking stones in the rice fields Experiences can be tailored to weather, season, and your condition. Please feel free to consult with us.
What should I wear for the farm experience?
Please bring underclothes, socks, and a towel you don’t mind getting dirty. We provide free rental workwear, boots, hats, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Please bring your own pajamas for your stay.
Is the farm experience held in the rain?
Yes, in light rain. In case of heavier rain, indoor activities will be arranged. We adjust flexibly depending on the weather.
Is the farm experience available in English?
We will do our best to accommodate using translation apps and tools. For professional interpretation in English or other languages, we kindly ask you to arrange your own interpreter.
What are the meals like? Do guests cook?
Guests cook local cuisine in the open kitchen with our staff. Example menu: Iron pot-cooked Yamada Nishiki rice, local chicken sukiyaki with seasonal vegetables, sake lees soup (subject to change). Ingredients will be pre-prepared by staff. Written instructions are provided. If you prefer the staff to cook for you, please check the box “Request staff to cook” when booking.
Do you accommodate food allergies?
Yes. Please inform us of any food allergies when booking.
What if I don’t drink sake?
We offer non-alcoholic drinks, including Yamada Nishiki mocktails, tea, juice, and mineral water.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes, you may bring both. The accommodation fee remains the same.
Are there convenience stores or supermarkets nearby?
Yes, within a 5-minute drive by car or taxi. Please check Google Maps for store hours.
Are there tourist spots nearby?
Yes. We recommend traveling by car. Feel free to ask our staff for recommendations.
Is it a quiet place? Is noise an issue?
Yes, it’s a quiet rural area. We kindly ask guests to refrain from outdoor activities and loud sounds after 9:00 PM out of respect for the community.
Is there a curfew?
No curfew is set.
Can I get a receipt?
Yes. Please request one when booking or during your stay.
Can you accommodate gifts or celebrations?
Yes, while we may not offer luxury hotel-level service, we’ll do our best. Let us know in advance when booking.
Can I send luggage before my stay?
Yes. Please send it prepaid and inform us beforehand.
Is the facility wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately, due to the traditional farmhouse structure, it is not fully wheelchair accessible.
Can I visit the facility or rice fields without staying overnight?
